Honey drying (moisture reduction) is increasingly popular in the industry and we’re advocates for drying honey during the extraction phase (whilst it’s at its most pure form). Removing moisture at this point reduces the chance of yeast and moulds kicking off the fermentation process, meaning your honey can be stored in bulk containers for as long as needed before packing and selling, increasing your profits. Our clean extraction and honey recovery (‘pigging’) designs are exclusive to Manuka Engineering and derive from our vision to extract and process honey using only one piece of equipment before bottling. Our honey extraction and honey recovery processes maximise your plant’s efficiency, plus we have the ability to design, engineer, install and manage both of these machines in-house.
